In Switzerland, circuit races are banned since the Le Mans accident in 1954
where hundreds of spectators have been killed. Thats why we have to join track
days in adjacent countries. But why track days? It is impossible and more important
it is forbidden to find the limits of a motorbike with more than 100hp on street.
On a racetrack, this is possible. When you're new to track days, I recommend
to book a day with instructor first. That means you drive in a group with an instructor ahead, considerable
reducing risks. A track day will improve driving on street, too. Braking from
high speeds or in corners, behavior in delicate situtations, finding the limit
of man or machine are some keywords.
Check if you're insured properly before the track day!
